Suspects Sought In Attack, Robbery In Philadelphia Fast Food Restaurant

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Philadelphia police are searching for four suspects who attacked and robbed a man inside a fast food restaurant earlier this month.

The incident happened at about 2:20 p.m. on April 3rd inside the Popeyes restaurant in the 3200 block of W. Cheltenham Avenue.

According to investigators, the ordeal began when a 22-year-old male became involved in a brief altercation with an unknown female inside the store.

The male then sat down at a table when four black males entered the restaurant and approached him. Two of the males began punching and kicking him and knocking him to the floor.

Police say one of the suspects then went through the male's pockets and took his iPod and his wallet containing $160. The male suffered minor injuries.

The suspects then fled in a silver Audi 4 door with a sun roof.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Northwest Detectives Division at 215-686-3353/54.
