PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Some folks are taking an international stand with creative demonstrations Wednesday, marking the one year anniversary of the BP oil spill in the Gulf.

Organizer Jeff Rousset explains they brought with them giant puppets.
“One is a BP executive and the other is a Pennsylvania politician which that executive has hired to do his bidding,” Rousset explained.READ MORE: Man Struck, Killed By Vehicle In North Philadelphia, Police Say
When he was asked what he wanted motorists driving by to know, Rousset said “that right now the corporations are pressuring the politicians to make changes that support big corporate polluters.”
Rousset says he hopes to encourage folks to get involved.
