Legs Against Arms Run Celebrates Keeping Kids Away From Violence

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Philadelphia Physicians for Social Responsibility holds its annual Legs Against Arms 5-K Run as part of its strategy - from prevention through healing from violence - looking to keep kids away from the chain of violence, honoring those who have been lost and celebrating the lives of those who are on the right path.

Kate Etherington is Executive Director. She says after the walk, 30 organizations will join together for a Celebration of Youth and Peace Festival which will be about fitness, nutrition, creating peace and the prevention of violence.

Race registration begins at 7 a.m. at Saint Joseph's at 54th and Overbrook.
