Goalie Michael Leighton Called Up Again By Flyers

PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- The Philadelphia Flyers have recalled goalie Michael Leighton from their American Hockey League affiliate, the Adirondack Phantoms.

Leighton was called up after he cleared waivers today.

Leighton gives the Flyers three goalies. He'll back up Sergei Bobrovsky and Brian Boucher.

Leighton was 14-12-1 with a 2.22 GAA and a .926 save percentage in 30 games for the Phantoms this season. In one game for the Flyers this season, Leighton is 1-0-0 with a 4.00 GAA and a .889 save percentage.

He went 8-3 in the playoffs last year with three shutouts, posting a 2.46 GAA and .916 save percentage.
