A Bright Idea - Learn More About Bulbs

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Bulbs bursting out of the soil are a sure sign that winter will end - but there's more to bulbs than crocuses, daffodils and tulips -- and they don't all show up in the spring. There are bulbs that bloom in summer and fall too, and you can find out more in a free lecture called "Bulbs A to Z."

It's easy to learn a lot from the fabulously smart and engaging Jenny Rose Carey who's giving the talk. She heads the Ambler Arboretum where the lecture's being held, this Sunday, April 10th from 2 to 4, in the Learning Center Auditorium on the Temple Ambler campus.

After the talk, take a walk through the Arboretum. And just what you need after hearing about so many great bulbs you'll want to plant in your garden -- there will be a bulb SALE too. So you can soon have loads of them blooming in your yard instead of seeing them all around and saying… 'Oh, yeah, I MEANT to plant some bulbs…."
