Police: 19-Year-Old Kidnapped From Atlantic City Home At Gunpoint

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (CBS) - Atlantic City Police are requesting the public's help in searching for a young woman who was a victim of an armed home invasion and kidnapping Saturday night.

At the time of the incident, Nadirah Ruffin, 19, was visiting a friend's house in the 800 block of North Maryland Avenue in Atlantic City.

Police say Ruffin was forced at gunpoint out of the residence and placed into an unknown vehicle.

The four armed assailants carried handguns and were covered by masks and hooded sweatshirts, according to authorities.

Ruffin is described as a black female, about 5'4" and 120 pounds with a medium complexion. She has several tattoos including "so sweet" on her left neck. She was last seen wearing a blue Polo sweater and blue jeans. Police say she was wearing braids in her hair at the time of her kidnapping.
