Wilmington Man Charged With Robbing Same Bank Twice
WILMINGTON, Del. (CBS) -- Delaware State Police have arrested a man suspected of robbing the same North Wilmington bank twice.
Detectives arrested 50-year-old Lamotte Chandler of Wilmington on Friday and charged him with two robberies of the Artisans Bank. Chandler was already in police custody, though. He had been arrested last week by Wilmington police who say he robbed a WSFS Bank in Wilmington.
Chandler was arraigned Friday and ordered held on his previous charges and $95,000 bail for the new charges.
Police say the Artisans Bank was robbed in November and in January. Pictures from a security camera show an man at a teller window with a gun.
