Napping Helps Productivity

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Naps can help productivity. Tell that to your boss!

But German studies have shown that if you just nap for six minutes during the day, it will not only make you feel better, but it could improve your ability to learn and remember. The connection between sleep and learning is something that researchers have only recently pinpointed, but many know from their own experience that the mind is clearer after a nap.

There are other advantages as well. A little nap can make you much more aggressive and also intuitive.
Remember the key here is a brief nap—the classic cat nap.

Several hours of sleep won't help unless you are sleep deprived -- and that is a different purpose than a brief nap on a normal day.
