Delaware Man, 72, Charged With Sexual Assault
WILMINGTON, Del. (CBS) - Police in Delaware have charged a 72-year-old man with sexually assaulting an 8-year-old girl.
Wilmington Police arrested Paul Compton and charged him with 10 counts of Rape 1st Degree, 5 counts of Rape 2nd Degree and 1 count each of Unlawful Sexual Contact 1st Degree and Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Child.
Compton's arrest was a result of an investigation that began on February 28th when police were notified of a possible sexual assault of an 8-year-old.
Compton is awaiting arraignment at J.P. Court #20.
