Suspect Leads Police On Chase In Stolen Bakery Truck
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - A suspect is in custody after stealing a bakery truck and leading Philadelphia police on a chase early Wednesday morning.
The incident began when the suspect stole a "South Philly Bakery" truck at Delaware and Columbia Avenues in the city's Fishtown section.
Officers then spotted the stolen truck along Frankford Avenue and a chase ensued. The suspect was eventually taken into custody after he crashed the truck into a small construction barricade on N. 5th Street.
The suspect remains behind bars.
