Police Probe Violent Oxford Circle Home Invasion

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Police are searching for several suspects in connection to a violent home invasion in Northeast Philadelphia early Tuesday morning.

The invasion happened shortly after midnight inside a home in the 1100 block of Knorr Street in the city's Oxford Circle section.

According to investigators, three family members were asleep when the suspects entered the home. The suspects tied up the victims and one of them was pistol-whipped.

The suspects demanded the victims open a safe that was located inside the home. The victims complied and the suspects fled the home with an unknown amount of money.

Investigators believe the suspects may have followed the victims home from their business.

Police say one of the suspects may have dropped their ski mask when they fled the scene.

The incident remains under investigation. Anyone with information is urged to call 911.
