<em> College Basketball: </em> Wildcats Hold Serve, Owls Drop in New Top 25 Poll
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Two Big 5 teams continue to be ranked in this week's new Associated Press Top 25 Poll.
Villanova is ranked 15th for another week. The Wildcats went 2-0 this past with hard-fought wins over DePaul and Seton Hall on the road. Overall, they are 21-6 and 9-5 in the Big East heading into Monday night's game with #17 Syracuse.
Despite wins over Richmond and St. Joe's, Temple falls a spot from #23 to #24. The Owls were passed by St. John's. The new darling of the Big East went from unranked to #23.
Temple is 21-5 on the season and now 11-2 in the Atlantic-10. Fran Dunphy's squad will have its hands full on Wednesday as the Owls face the new #1 team in the country, Duke. With each of last week's top four teams losing, Duke jumped up from #5 to #1. The Blue Devils are 25-2.
