Love A Homeless Pet For Valentines

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Eight adorable and especially eligible bachelors and single females are looking for love this Valentine's Day. The Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) is hoping Cupid will help find homes for its longest-term resident dogs and cats. Four sweet cats and four adorable dogs, including one who has been in the shelter for over a year, are featured in "Singles Ads" posted on PAWS' web site and on flyers across the city.

If you're looking for true love on four legs, please visit www.phillypaws.org to meet Sooki, Chicken Dumpling, Harold, Cece, and other rescued animals waiting to finally meet their match. They don't need champagne, chocolate, or romantic dinners – just companionship and a loving home.

Should any of PAWS' Valentines find their true love before Valentine's Day, there are certainly many other lovable pets waiting for forever homes, so keep checking back for updates or visit the ADOPT section of phillypaws.org for the full list of dogs and cats looking for a family to love.
