Yummy Event At Tyler

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - What could be better than a pancake breakfast on a winter weekend day? Not much, unless you get to tap a maple tree and see how sap becomes syrup before enjoying plates of pancakes swimming in that sugary goodness. And that's exactly what you can do this Saturday, February 5th at the Tyler Arboretum in Media, PA. It all starts at 8 am for you early birds and runs until 1 pm – and there's smartly a snow date of February 12th…just in case.

The Maple Sugaring Celebration costs $10 for adults, $5 for kids 3 to 12, and wee ones under 3 are free; for that you get to help tap a tree; tour the historic barn to see how 40 gallons of sap become one gallon of syrup, and enjoy an all-you-can eat breakfast of pancakes, sausage, cocoa and coffee. Alright, now I'm hungry – if you are too, click on the links for details www.tylerarboretum.org/events and directions www.tylerarboretum.org/visit/directions to the Tyler Arboretum Pancake Breakfast this Saturday.
