Police Seek Car And Driver In Deadly Hatboro Hit-Run

HATBORO, Pa. (CBS) - Montgomery County authorities say one witness has been questioned so far in connection with a deadly hit-and-run crash in Hatboro early Sunday morning, but they are still looking for the driver of a car they believe was involved.

Police say Rolando Dominguez-Villada of Horsham, Pa. was struck and dragged along South Warminster Road, between Mill Road and Surrey Lane, sometime between 2:00 and 2:35 AM Sunday morning.  He was pronounced dead at the scene (see previous story).

Police say their investigation has revealed that more than one vehicle may have been involved, and they are asking the public for help in locating a car.

"We're looking for a vehicle that would have damage to the driver's side side-view mirror," Montgomery County district attorney Risa Ferman said today.

Anyone with information should call Hatboro Police.

Police are releasing very little information about the incident and would not speculate on why the 25-year-old man was walking along the road at such an early hour of the morning.

When an incident like this occurs under these conditions, Ferman says, authorities always look at the possibility that alcohol may have played a part in some way.
