Delaware Man Arrested On Drug Charges After Domestic Incident

FELTON, Del. (CBS) - Delaware State Police have arrested a man involved in a domestic-related incident in Felton Friday night.

Police say Michael Lewis, 29, of Lincoln, got into an argument with a 41-year-old female and began assaulting her in a home at the Woodland Manor Trailer Park at about 10:30 p.m. According to police, there was also a 3-year-old child present in the residence.

Upon making the arrest on the unit block of Ruben May Drive, police discovered a plastic bag containing 27 individually wrapped packages containing approximately 12 grams of crack cocaine in his sock.

Police say that Lewis was under a no-contact order with the victim stemming from an earlier incident. He is being charged with 3rd degree assault, trafficking in cocaine, intent to deliver cocaine, endangering the welfare of a child, and breach of release.

The victim suffered minor injuries and the child was unharmed. Lewis is being held on $13,000 bail.
