Delaware Police Investigate Gun Store Robbery
LAUREL, Del. (AP) - Delaware police are investigating a robbery at a gun store where a suspect stole an unknown number of weapons.
Delaware State Police say the Southern Delaware Shooters Gun Store in Laurel was robbed Friday night. According to police, a man entered the store and requested to have a knife sharpened.
When a man working at the store turned his back he was attacked from behind, choked and became unconscious. When the man regained consciousness he found his hands and feet bound.
Police say the suspect stole an undisclosed number of handguns, shotguns and rifles. Anyone with information about the robbery can contact Delaware State Police at 302-856-5850.
