Eagles Practice, No Decision Yet On Vick's Status

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - The Eagles returned to the practice field today, getting ready for Sunday's regular season finale at the Linc against Dallas.

With quarterback Michael Vick's status for the Cowboys game still unresolved, Eagles offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg knows that the Cowboys have people that can bring some heat to opposing quarterbacks.

"They are very good up front," he said. "You've got (Jay) Ratliff and (DeMarcus) Ware, among others. They are very, very good so you've got to keep them at bay."

Mornhinweg today, also addressed the ongoing hits Vick is taking game after game.

"Well, it's part of the game. I would like to see him protect himself just a little bit better and there are ways to do that," he said. "And he's gotten a little bit better at it. So he can continue to get better that way."

As for Vick's increasing number of turnovers, Mornhinweg says that his quarterback will do better in that area.
