Chester Casino Worker Accused Of Stealing Tips

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - A cashier at Harrah's Casino in Chester is accused of stealing tips from her co-workers.

State police say 53-year-old Norma Jean Gray, a cage cashier at Harrah's in Chester, was supposed to divide a pool of tip money among 75 cashiers. But instead, troopers say, she pocketed $3400 in cash in October and November.

She's expected to be arraigned later this week on charges of theft, theft by deception and receiving stolen property.

Troopers are still investigating to see whether anyone else was involved in the thefts.
