2 Philadelphia Officers Injured In Torresdale Crash

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Two Philadelphia Police officers were injured when their cruiser collided with a minivan on Roosevelt Blvd. Saturday evening.

The accident occurred just after 7 p.m. near the intersection of Roosevelt and Deveraux Avenue.

One of the officers, a 38-year-old male, suffered a head injury and a fractured right leg. The other officer, a 41-year-old male, suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Both officers were taking to Aria Health's Torresdale Hospital in stable condition.

The driver of the minivan was not injured in the crash.

The cause of the accident is unclear at this time.
