Home Video Report: Despicable Me Hits DVD

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Our pre-Christmas video review is something of a mixed bag.

Despicable Me (above) comes to us as an animated comedy about a villain whose life is altered by a trio of orphans. The voices of Steve Carrell, Russell Brand, and Julie Andrews are featured. (Read Bill Wine's review of Despicable Me)

Cyrus, starring John Reilly and Marisa Tomei, deals with a mother's new boyfriend and her son struggling for her affections.

From 1985 there's Trouble In Mind, in its debut on DVD, with Kris Kristofferson and Genevieve Bujold.

Then there's a popular and somewhat frightening documentary titled Gasland, dealing with the perils of natural gas drilling sweeping sections the country. It created quite a stir last June on HBO.

Comedian-actor Robert Klein is out with his ninth HBO special. This one is titled, "Unfair & Unbalanced."

And, if you're in the market for a giant collection of 20th Century Fox features going back to 1933, you can order a hefty package of 76 disks of the studio's major productions reissued for the studio's recent anniversary.
