Gloucester County Police Investigate Ironworker's Homicide

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Police in Gloucester County are investigating the murder of a 54-year-old iron worker whose body was found at his Westville home Monday afternoon.

Thomas Carbin's daughter found his body at his apartment on 32 River Road at about 1:15 p.m. after the two scheduled to meet. The victim's black 2006 Chevrolet Colorado pickup truck was discovered later Monday afternoon outside the gate of Iron Worker's Local 399 Union Hall on Crown Point Rd. in Westville.

According to police, Carbin was last seen alive by an acquaintance who came to his apartment about 8 p.m. Sunday. Carbin's autopsy results are pending.
