Girls Rock Philly is launching its second year of Ladies Rock Camp, a weekend-long day camp and fundraiser held February 19th through the 21st. Over the course of the weekend, there will be chances for women 19 and older to learn to write songs and play an instrument.

Girls Rock Philly director Beth Warshaw Duncan suggests it’s a great holiday gift:

“Someone who has never played and they get a little worried and they say, ‘I don’t know how to play, is that all right?’ And we say of course. We take anyone as long as they’re over 19 and we take anyone of any skill level.”
