Delaware Teen Sought In Fatal Shooting Of Boy, 10

MAGNOLIA, Del. (AP) – Delaware State Police are identifying the boy shot to death in Magnolia as 10-year-old Lionel Butler.

Police announced Thursday that they are looking for an 18-year-old Magnolia man wanted in the fatal shooting.

A group of young people from the neighborhood were gathered on Nascar Lane in Magnolia around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, when police say a gun was fired, striking Butler in the chest. The boy was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police have warrants charging Obadiah D. Miller with first-degree murder and weapons offenses in the boy's death.

Anyone with information about Miller's whereabouts is asked to call 911. Police say he should be considered armed and dangerous.
