Armed Gunman Robs Strawberry Mansion Store

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police are searching for an armed gunman who was captured on surveillance tape robbing a North Philadelphia convenience store.

The incident happened at about 6:15 p.m. on October 30 inside a store in the 2500 block of W. Somerset Street in the city's Strawberry Mansion section.

The suspect is shown on surveillance approaching the counter with a shotgun up his right sleeve pointed at the store's cashier. The man demanded money from the register and then fled the store.

The male is described as a black male, mid-20s, approximately 180 lbs, and 6' tall. He was wearing a red "Old Navy" hoodie, a black baseball cap and dark jeans.
