Lentz and Meehan Cast Their Votes In Delco.

DELAWARE COUNTY (CBS) - Democrat Bryan Lentz and Republican Pat Meehan, candidates for the congressional seat in Pennsylvania's seventh district, cast their votes this morning.

Both candidates voted at about the same time in Delaware County.  Rep. Lentz voted at the Cerebral Palsy Association of Delaware County in Swarthmore:

"I'm seeing very positive signs, particularly in the areas that we're encouraged by a very good turnout. People seem enthusiastic and aware of the issues and the importance of voting."

Former U.S. Attorney Meehan voted just down the street from his home in Drexel Hill.

"We've really been out before the sun came up, travelling all through the district. Frankly, a very enthusiastic response and I feel good about it."

Both candidates are feeling confident but concede there is a lot of work to do before the polls close.
