Alleged Robber Killed By Shoe Store Owner In North Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Philadelphia police are investigating a robbery that turned fatal when a North Philadelphia store owner allegedly shot the would-be robber.

Police say it happened at the Super Pro shoe store in the 2900 block of North 22nd Street at about 1:15 p.m. Monday. They say a man in his 20s attempted to rob the store, pretending to have a weapon.
