WILMINGTON, Del. (CBS) — Police in Delaware are searching for three suspects who threatened an employee with a knife during a robbery of a sports store.

The incident happened at about 5 p.m. Tuesday at The Sports Authority located in the 1100 block of Rocky Run Parkway in Wilmington.

According to investigators, two suspects — a male and female — entered the store and removed three pairs of sneakers that were on display for sale. The suspects then concealed the sneakers under their coats.

The two then attempted to leave the store with the sneakers. At the same time, the store’s loss prevention officer confronted the suspects near the exit doors. A third suspect then appeared and displayed a pocket knife at the employee in a threatening manner.

The three suspects then exited the store and fled in a white Chevrolet Blazer.

No one was injured during the incident.
