Suspect Sought In Robbery Of Delaware Liquor Store
NEWARK, Del. (CBS3) - Police in Delaware are searching for a suspect in connection to the robbery of a liquor store.
The incident happened at about 1:20 a.m. Tuesday morning at the Peddlers Pit Stop located in the 600 block of College Avenue in Newark.
According to investigators, the suspect smashed a window of the business and entered the store. The suspect stole a case of beer and then drove away from the scene.
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 20 to 25 years of age, with a shaved head and possibly a light mustache.
He fled in a Mazda B300 extended cab pick-up truck, or other similar model. The car is a shade of green and has a lighter colored striping/design down the side. Investigators say a black tool box was mounted in the bed of the truck and at the time of the burglary, there was also a clear plastic tote box with a white lid in the bed.
