Radnor Police Ask Public to ID Bank Robber

Police in Radnor Township are hoping new details on the suspect in a bank robbery will help bring him to justice.

KYW's Ian Bush reports that authorities say the Wachovia, next to the Radnor Hotel on Lancaster Avenue in St. Davids, was held up on Friday morning.

Police say the theif pulled out what appeared to be a sawed-off shotgun from his backpack and demanded cash.

The suspect is described as a black male, between 18 and 20 years old, about 5'2" to 5'5". He weighs about 125 pounds with a very slight build. At the time, he was wearing a backwards tan baseball hat, an oversized white t-shirt, and light gray cargo pants.

If you recognize the man in the surveillance photos, please contact Radnor police at 610-688-0503.
