Police are investigating a violent home invasion in Northeast Philadelphia.
KYW's Margie Smith reports that just after 8:00 this morning, two men broke into a home in the 900 block of Unruh Avenue. They tied up a man and his wife with duct tape and pistol-whipped the man, injuring him in the head.
The couple's three-year-old daughter was also in the house but was not injured. Her father was hospitalized in stable condition.
The men escaped with $50,000 in jewelry from a safe, $5,000 in cash, a camcorder, two laptop computers, and the couple's black Toyota Corolla.
