Only Familiar Names Remain in Pa. Senate, Gov. Races

All three Libertarian Party candidates for statewide office in Pennsylvania have now abandoned their effort to get on the November ballot.

KYW's Tony Romeo reports that in the face of challenges to their nominating signatures filed by Republican voters, the Libertarian candidates for governor, lieutenant governor, and US Senate have all withdrawn.

Earlier this week, a self-proclaimed Tea Party candidate for governor and a Green Party candidate for Senate also withdrew (see related story). That leaves only the Republican and Democratic candidates on the ballot for governor and Senate.
