Michael Jackson's Black Glove Goes Up For Auction

Coming this October 9th, some of the most unusual possessions of some of the hottest celebrities will be auctioned in mainland China.

KYW's Bob Nelson
notes that     China  may seem far removed for this sort of auction, but two major entertainment figures -- Madonna and Michael Jackson -- are two of the celebrities whose items are being sold.

Darren Julien, of the auction house holding the event, mentions one of Jackson's possessions to be auctioned:

"We have a black glove, which is very rare.  It was a glove that Michael Jackson wore to promote the 'History' tour, and it's actually on the trailer that you can see of the video."

And Julien expects some high prices:

"Anything to do with Michael Jackson is highly publicized.  His fan base is unlike any other celebrity around the world."

Jackson's crystal-studded white glove fetched $16,000 in an auction last June.
