The possibility of bail for three Philadelphia cops indicted for orchestrating a drug deal with known traffickers was happening on Tuesday. 

KYW’s Kim Glovas reports US District Judge Harvey Bartle will decide by the end of the day  the fates of three police officers taken into custody earlier this month for allegedly conspiring with heroin dealers.

Officers Robert Snyder, Mark Williams, and James Venziale are indicted for stealing heroin from one drug dealer to sell to another.

Assistant US Attorney Kathy Stark says the DEA put a street price of $100,000 on the 300 grams of heroin involved.  The deal went down on May 14th of this year.

Each officer faces a mandatory minimum of five years in prison, or a maximum of from 44 years to 84 years.
