It's officially festival season, so there is lots to do in and around Philly this April weekend with the kick-off of the Philadelphia Science Festival, the opening of the Chinese Lantern Festival, Earth Day Celebrations and so much more! Chinese Lantern Festival

Don't miss opening weekend of the Chinese Lantern Festival this Friday April 22nd through Sunday April 24th. Appearing for the first time in the Northeast, Franklin Square will be illuminated with more than 25 larger than life displays of flowers, Chinese dragon, three-story pagoda and more. $17 adults, $12 youth.

The culminating event of the Philadelphia International Festival of the Arts, the PIFA Street Fair takes place this Saturday April 23rd from 11am – 7pm.
