Dilworth Park Opening Day


11 a.m., FREE

It's finally here! Dilworth Park is reopening to the public this morning with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and all-day arts and culture festival. Philly's latest park will be complete with plenty of lovely trees, an animated fountain and a Garces-run eatery, plus fun seasonal features such as an ice skating rink. The grand opening festivities are slated to continue all weekend long.

"A Big Stick of Confidence"


5:30 – 8:30 p.m., registration required

Join artist Clara Ursitti with guest speaker Dr. Pamela Dalton for a special discussion that's also part experiment and part art installation. The focus is on "A Big Stick of Confidence," Ursitti's new scent installation, and a reception will follow the lecture.
