Story Time: Meet Barton the Porcupine

Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University

1900 Ben Franklin Pkwy
Philadelphia, Pa.

2:30 – 3 p.m., FREE with admission

If you’ve ever seen one of Teddy Bear the Porcupine’s adorable Facebook videos, you know just how cute this spiky animal can be. Today, the Academy of Natural Sciences invites curious little ones and their parents or guardians to meet Barton the porcupine, who is new to the Academy and apparently quite affectionate despite his prickly exterior. After getting a closer look at Barton, kids can settle in for story time featuring the children’s book, A Porcupine Named Fluffy.
