The city’s signature purple bus kicks off another season with free rides through Sunday! And new this year, the service, which runs to 22 stops throughout Philly, plans to operate past Labor Day, so you can still get to the zoo, Penn’s Landing, Eastern State Penitentiary and more on the cheap.

The 25th annual Dining Out for Life is next week, and in advance of the event, the public is invited to join Mayor Nutter and CBS3’s very own Jim Donovan for a vigil for those who have lost their lives to AIDS. Stop by between 5 and 7 p.m. to hear a list of names read aloud and pay your respects.

Pounds of crawfish and live jazz? Sounds like a pretty awesome Thursday night! Now through Saturday, Rex 1516 will be serving up two pounds of crawfish, Andouille sausage, corn and red bliss potatoes for just $25, plus buckets of four Narragansett pounders for $10. And if your feast needed a little bit of background music, you’re in luck – The Eric Wortham Trio is playing live all three nights, too.
