With its history and picturesque locations, Philadelphia is one of the best places to host a wedding reception. Whether you’re looking for a classy venue or one with a more relaxed vibe, Philadelphia has you covered. Look no further than the following spots to host your wedding reception.

On the over 100-acre Pen Ryn Estate sits two potential reception venues: Pen Ryn Mansion and Belle Voir Manor. According to its website, the estate is “known as the premier Bucks County riverfront estate available for weddings, banquets, corporate meetings and group tours.” To reach the buildings, you must take a beautiful 2,000-foot drive, and once there, you’ll witness the fantastic views of the Delaware River and gardens. Guests at Pen Ryn Mansion have access to the entire place, with a cocktail hour set up in the library, parlour and dining room. Belle Voir Manor is complete with a private suite, grand staircase and tall ceilings supported by ionic columns. Both places boast baby grand pianos, and since the estate has been around for more than 250 years, remind us of the glamor of past times.
