Father's Day is a great excuse to get together with the family to celebrate the man of the house. These Philadelphia spots either offer deals for the holiday, or just have menus that are particularly dad-friendly. Skip the cooking and the cleanup and treat your dad to a great meal in his honor.

Beast & Ale comes from the same team as the popular restaurants Cantina Feliz, La Calaca Feliz and Taqueria Feliz. On Sunday, June 21, Lacroix in the Rittenhouse Hotel will offer a special brunch from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in honor of Father's Day. Priced at $75 per person, the buffet-style meal will feature a selection of appetizers, chef's table of hot entrees, raw-bar specialties and more. Decadent desserts complete the meal. Make Father's Day special by doing something out of the ordinary - take a Philadelphia cruise. The Spirit of Philadelphia offers great views of the city from its large outdoor deck along with space for dancing with entertainment provided by a DJ. Choose between brunch and dinner buffets, which include complimentary juice and soda plus one free beer for all of the dads. The brunch cruise goes from noon to 2 p.m. with boarding at 11:30 and costs $49.90 for adults, $29.95 for children ages three to 12. The dinner cruise lasts from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. with boarding at 5:30 p.m. and costs $68.90 for adults, $40.95 for children.

Iron Chef Jose Garces serves elevated pub classics, like duck fat fries, herb-roasted oysters and gourmet burgers at Village Whiskey. In honor of Father's Day, the Rittenhouse spot will celebrate three typical dad favorites with its "Bourbon, Bacon & BBQ" event on Sunday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. For $75 per person, guests will enjoy a selection of top-shelf bourbons paired with house-cured bacon and Village Whiskey's signature BBQ sandwich. Beverage Manager Justin Holden will share his bourbon expertise, and Chef Dave Conn will be talking about how to pair the different styles of bourbon with food. Each guest will be greeted at the door with the restaurant's signature Manhattan and all of the dads will receive a special gift to take home.
