Top R&B Concerts Coming To Philadelphia

Everywhere you turn this summer, concert venues of the Delaware Valley will be filled with the smooth sound of rhythm and blues. From Camden to Atlantic City, from Center City to the Mann Music Center, there is a smooth sound of an R&B concert waiting for you. The inviting home of the Sound of Philadelphia has opened its doors to R&B legends old and young alike. With the acts lined up to perform, the artists will not disappoint sharing their classic hits with fans of all ages who will get lost in their music.

Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane, Camila Cabello and Lauren Jauregui, better known as Fifth Harmony, make a stop of the BB&T Pavilion along the Camden waterfront. The American five-member girl group formed on the second season of The X Factor USA in July 2012 have taken the country and the world by storm. They credit such R&B artists like Patti LaBelle, One Direction, Beyonce, Janet Jackson and Rihanna for their sound. Always at the top of the charts since their debut, the group has emerged as the most successful alumni from the U.S. television competition franchise.

Regular R&B collaborators Ja Rule and Ashanti are sharing and co-headlining an eleven-date tour this summer which will electrify Philadelphia. The New Jersey native is most recently responsible for contributing six tracks to the soundtrack "What Happened, Miss Simone?" about the life of musician Nina Simone.

One of R&B music's most beloved and popular music groups will take center stage at The Dell sharing with fans of all ages their string of hits from the 1960's and 70's. Fans can expect the group to belt out such tunes like "Just Gets Better with Time," "Lady," "Let's Go All the Way," and "Lost and Turned Out." Their body of work encompasses four decades of Pop and R&B so they will have more than enough to keep the crowd entertained.
