One of the biggest challenges faced by young moms is finding time to unwind and rejuvenate. Raising a family is a juggling act, and unless a platoon of stroller pushers are at the ready for your sippy-cup set, it’s quite a struggle to take time away from the little tikes for physical exercise and social activities. Perhaps the best option marries mom’s “me” time with hands-on bonding activities with the kids. So sit down, take a break and check out these top mommy-and-me classes in the Philadelphia area.

The Perch & Parent class, for tots ages 18 months to three years, kicks the song and game approach up a notch so that kids learn basic swimming movements. Finally, keeping with the fish theme, the Pike & Parent program gives intermediate instruction to kids up to age four.
