Rittenhouse Row Spring Festival

This annual extravaganza showcases Philadelphia's finest fashions, cuisine and entertainment and attracts more than 50,000 people to enjoy the best of Rittenhouse Row. The festival transforms the Rittenhouse Square neighborhood into a street fest and everyone's invited. Residents and visitors flock to the area from all around the city and get to enjoy food from the city's most renowned restaurants.

During the Kensington Kinetic Sculpture Derby and Arts Festival, more than 200 local arts and food vendors take to the streets along a bright and colorful parade of floats. People stroll the streets of Kensington and Fishtown to mingle in what locals refer to as the "best day in the neighborhood". The derby portion of the day runs along a three-mile urban obstacle course and has eccentric, handcrafted mobile sculptures powered by people.

The nation's oldest outdoor market is having a celebration. Complete with food and fun-filled things for visitors of all ages, the Italian Market Festival brings the entire community together. The annual celebration features live entertainment and activities, plus the Italian Market's scrumptious array of homemade sausages, delicious cannoli, imported meats and cheeses, butcher-cut beef and poultry, specialty cookware and fresh pastas.

The Jersey Shore Festival is a free admission music and arts festival. It has performances by over 350 artists from around the world, in addition to a plethora of vendors and of course, the beach.

New Performances Join The Philadelphia Chinese Lantern Festival

The Philadelphia Lantern Festival keeps getting better. Organizers added new performances to this celebration of Chinese culture. The new acts include Kung Fu tea, performers use a long stemmed tea pot to perform a unique tea ceremony. The festival has 25 larger than life displays of flowers, Chinese dragon, three-story pagoda and more.
