Enjoy The (supposed) Rapture Part II at – where else? – the Penn Museum's fabulous Maya 2012 exhibit. In addition to tons of artifacts to peruse close-up, there will also be a Mayan-themed cash bar and Mayan apps, acrobats and music spun by DJ Skribble (of MTV fame) and Philly's DJ Joe Broscoe.

Yeah, yeah – you've heard it before. The end of the world is nigh. Go out with a bang at PhilaMOCA, an old mausoleum that's been re-purposed as a gallery space. During this three day "celebration" of the apocalypse, you'll learn about the end of the world through art, movies, music and multimedia presentations. I won't even try to top the description of this event that's posted on Resurrection's website. Basically, you can expect to party all day and drink Great Lakes brews all night, as the apocalypse happens to coincide with the bar's scheduled Great Lakes beer event.

Say 'sayonara, cruel world' at this Headhouse eatery, named after the Mayan term for flower. The restaurant is serving up a three-course prix fixe menu including fried chicken and a special flatbread, and a late night happy hour will be offered from 9 – 11 p.m.
