Top Bars With Light Gambling In Philadelphia

Early in 2014, it became legal for Pennsylvanians to participate in minor gambling in bars. This includes activities such as raffles, daily drawings and self-pull-tab chances. You can play pull-tabs for example for $1 and win up to $500 in Pennsylvanian. Rules change state by state. There are a few places in the city where you can enjoy a game of chance, or try to push your luck. Here are the top five places with gambling in Philadelphia where your gamble on a night out, will still be a winner no matter how the dice rolls.

Barcade is an adult gamer's dream. The bar is located in Fishtown and is full of some of your favorite arcade games like Donkey Kong, Tetris, Super Mario and Frogger all for 25 cents a play. Barcade occasionally runs raffles, drawings and has an ample craft beer selection. They also serve some fun food such as tacos, quesadillas and nachos and have a smoking section out back. This is where the love of beer and games meet.

If you are more serious about gambling then a full-fledged casino may be what you're looking for.  The Sugar House has plenty of gambling with its 45,000 square feet and is one of a few Casinos now in Philly. They are open 24 hours so it maybe a place to stop when you're not finished with your evening fun. You won't have any problem finding something to eat here, as they have plenty of eateries and bars on the property.  Plans are in the works to expand the casino more across the 22 acres.

Doobies even has nearly any board game you can think of including Boggle, scrabble and perfection. Sometimes people enjoy making the games a bit more interesting. They also serve food and have plenty of vegan options. Doobies is also dog friendly, so you can bring your best friend. Open all week from 2 p.m. until 2 a.m.
