Top 2015 New Year's Eve Concerts In Philadelphia

Philadelphia always rings in the New Year with style, and 2015 forecasts to be even bigger and better than ever. Party people can revel in raucous club concerts, while the more cultured crowd can escape in the melodious sounds of a concerto. Whatever musical genre you're into, there's a New Year's venue for you. So book those tickets now and celebrate the last hurrah of the year at one of these top Philly concerts.

After a hiatus of 20 years, Boot & Saddle is back in the saddle with a 150-person strong live music area. Tickets will go fast for the venue's awesome New Year's Eve event starring A Sunny Day In Glasgow, a multi-national dream pop band with four albums under their belt. Showtime is December 31 at 10 p.m. Ticket price is $45 per person and includes an open bar from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Bands view the Electric Factory as a rite of passage - a sort of graduation from smaller venues to Philly's big time. The Factory, housed in a former electric factory, has two floors, and each features full bars and seating areas with great visibility. On December 31 at 9 p.m., catch the bizarre Gogol Bordello make the scene with Man Man as opening act. The five-piece main band combines punk rock, Gypsy music and cabaret for a one-of-a-kind experience. General admission is $40.

Celebrate the New Year under the great glass dome of the Kimmel Center with the Philadelphia Orchestra. Conductor Yannick Nezet-Seguin returns to the stage to present a night to remember at Verizon Hall. The concert takes place on December 31 at 7:30 p.m., promising plenty of time to arrive home before the clock strikes 12. Tickets range from $70 up to $160 per person.
