Fall Fun For The Whole Family

Now that the kids are back to school, it's time to plan out some fun Fall-themed outings the whole family can enjoy before the mayhem of the holiday season takes over your social life.

SPRUCE STREET HARBOR PARK FALL FEST

When: September 16-18
Where: Spruce Street Harbor Park

If you like you like the sound of pumpkin funnel cake, beer and DIY crafts to keep the kids occupied you'll probably want to check out Spruce Street Harbor Park this weekend.

TAILGATING FESTIVAL

When: September 16 - 17
Where: Kitchen Kettle Village

How does pumpkin bowling sound? Or voting for the best-dressed scarecrow decked out in your favorite sports fan gear? Then head to Lancaster for all that and more fun like live music, pie-filling contests, shopping and a corn cob race car derby.

RIDLEY TOWNSHIP FALL FESTIVAL

When: September 18 from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Where: Ridley Township Municipal Building
MacDade Blvd. & Morton Ave
Folsom, PA 19033

Live music and plenty of shopping from local vendors make this a fun event for adults while face painting, a bike auction, magic show and fireworks make this a good time for the kids as well. The South Jersey-based band "Revolve" will be providing the entertainment for the day, featuring some Beatles music.

DOWNINGTOWN FALL FEST

When: September 25 from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Where: Green Street & East Pennsylvania Ave
Downingtown, PA 19335

This annual event is fun for all ages with dozens of local vendors, live music and a Victory beer garden all in the heart of Downingtown.

 PUMPKIN FESTIVAL

When: October 1 from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: Oasis Family Farm
3 Circle Drive
Robbinsville, NJ 08691

This festival goes all out with pumpkin picking, pumpkin donuts and a pumpkin pie-eating contest! Free game activities and pony rides can keep the kids entertained as well as wagon rides and corn mazes. Moms and dads will find plenty to look at with Fall decor and baked goods to purchase.

INDIAN SUMMER WEEKEND

When: October 8 - October 10
Where: 825 Boardwalk
Ocean City, NJ 08226

This block party features more than 400 craft vendors as well as food, live entertainment, a seafood festival and a sand sculpting contest. Plus, it's an excuse for one more beach trip to last you through until Spring.
