Q: How did you get your car?

A: I bought it from Harris Kia in Lansdale. It’s always a great experience with those guys. This was the fourth Kia we’ve bought from them.

Q: Where do you live?

A: Souderton, PA 18964 – Northwest suburbs of Philly.

Q: How old are you?

A: My wife says I’m an old man, 35.

Q: How do you feel about your Kia Optima?

A: This is exactly what I needed for my commute to work. It gets good MPG, and has enough pep to get going but not overkill. It has enough trunk space that I can easily tote around my enormous hockey bag, and keep the smell fairly contained.

Q: What’s your car’s main use?

A: Typically, I only drive it to work during the week and my ice hockey games on the weekends. Other than that, we use our Kia Sorento to motor around town with the family.

Q: Tell me more about your commute. Where do you go and what’s your favorite or most disliked part about it?

A: I drive to Wilmington, DE, four days a week. There’s absolutely nothing that’s my favorite part, I hate every second of my commute. Driving is just not the same anymore; it’s too stressful.

Q: Do you have any rules in your car?


A: Rules are: They’re ain’t no rules!

Q: What’s one thing you would change or add to your car?

A: I wish I had the built-in Bluetooth that most Kias have now, but other than that, it’s great for me.

Q: What do you listen to in your car? Do you ever rock out or sing along?

A: I listen to rock and alternative mostly on my iPod. I’m always rockin’ out when driving alone.

Q: If your car had a human emotion, what would it be and why?

A: He’d be angry. He doesn’t like the commute either and is very greedy, wants the entire road to himself.

Q: How do you feel about driving?

A: I used to really love driving and would drive all over, all the time. Times have changed and I can’t stand being on the road with all the idiots.

Q: How many miles do you think are in the life of your car?

A: I think it’ll give me well over 100,000mi if I keep it that long but we’ll see.

Q: What’s your dream car?

A: Within reason, Audi Q5 or Q7, I’m a big SUV fan and just love the look and design of Audis.

Q: Is there anything else we should know about your Optima?

A: Don’t open the trunk on a hot day without nasal passage protection.
