David Dodwell is a graduate of the Cornell University's well known Hotel School and his passion for the hospitality industry started before he was 20 years old and continues some 43 years on!

David was appointed Manager of The Reefs, Southampton, Bermuda in 1972 and in 1981 purchased the hotel.   Under his leadership, The Reefs has undergone numerous renovation and expansion projects.   In 1989 David purchased the Nisbet Plantation Beach Club, another boutique hotel, in Nevis, West Indies.    Both properties consistently receive the highest accolades from the travel industry.

David is committed to giving back through community and public service.   He was a Member of Parliament for 14 years and was Minister of Tourism from 1995 – 98.   David is married to Margarita and has five children.
