Yes, it’s a chain. But this upscale steakhouse has been successful in Philly for a reason — mainly its specialty dry aged steaks, award-winning wine selection, premiere private dining and relaxed elegance in the heart of Center City.

Morton’s Of Chicago

Yeah, it’s “Of Chicago,” but Morton’s has been a staple in the Philadelphia steakhouse scene for years. The Center City meat factory is well known for its generous portions of USDA prime aged beef, as well as fresh fish, lobster, veal and chicken entrees. Morton’s is famous for its animated signature tableside menu presentation, where menu items are presented on a cart that’s rolled to your table.

Philadelphia, PA 19103

Barclay Prime is a Stephen Starr eatery in glamorous Rittenhouse Square that opened in 2004 and instantly became the toniest restaurant in the city. The only thing that outshines the interior of the high fashion establishment is the near flawless meat-and-potatoes menu that features beautifully marbled steaks.

Del Frisco’s

1426 Chestnut St
Philadelphia, PA 19102

Whether you’re ordering a burger at a business lunch or a filet mignon on a first date, you can’t wrong at this swanky Center City steakhouse. Hope for a seat upstairs, although the romance and ambiance of the vault can’t be beat, either.

A visit last evening to the Palm restaurant in Atlantic City left me very disappointed. If their Top Sirloin Steak is prime beef I’ll eat my hat, It’s probably more tender and most certainly has more flavor……………..

    this IS and embarrasing NON-story
    Give me a break.
You are a better radio stations then this.
Chains, are chains and they are okay for what they are, but don’t pretend to report that they are neighborhood or philly places.
    come on….

What a puff piece of an “article” this is. They left out a few of the non-chain restaurants. Is this an advertisment disguised as editorial content?
